Taylor
Taylor Bowen, LMHP-R, graduated from Radford University with a Master's of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has 5 years of experience in community based services, working primarily with children. Taylor uses a person-centered approach and incorporates psychoeducation and techniques from play therapy and art therapy to assist clients work through their trauma, anger, depression, anxiety, and/or attachment issues. Taylor incorporates educating parents and facilitating family sessions into treatment, as she believes working to strengthen the family unit is vital for a child's success. She is currently a Resident in Counseling working towards licensure under the supervision of Dr. Joyce Carter, LPC, PH.D and Dr. Adina Silvestri, EdD LPC.
In her spare time, Taylor loves to travel, spend time with friends and family, and watch the ID channel.
