Currently we are offering intensive in-home services and community supportive services to individuals considered at-risk . At-risk is a broad term meaning any youth who is "at-risk" for further involvement by a variety of agencies including: the school, the court system, social services or other agencies due to a series of high risk factors including, but definitely not limited to family dysfunction, substance abuse, aggressive behaviors, runaways, depression, firesetting, physical, emotional or sexual abuse victim or perpetrator, Attention Deficit issues, and a wide variety of other emotional, behavioral and physical symptoms.
Intensive In-home services are a short term intensive intervention provided to help keep youth out of a more restricted setting such as a psychiatric hospital or a detention home. These services provide counseling at a minimum of 5 hours per week in the home, 24/7 crisis management support, treatment planning goals, and community case management. What this means to you is one of our counselors will be in your home several times during the week, helping you and your family come up with solutions on how to find direction and support in dealing with the struggles that are threatening the home placement. You will find that having a counselor who works from a Family-Centered model right beside you in your home with you and your children is the most effective way to repair relationship and see severe behaviors begin to decrease.
